First thing we need to clarify with all of you is that there is no such thing as a bartending license. At state licensed bartending schools such as Elite Bartending School Orlando, you become a certified bartender, basically licenses expire, certifications do not.
The school must hold the state license to teach and distribute certifications to bartenders. In Elite Bartending Schools case, we issue licensing throughout Florida, all of our bartending schools are state licensed by the Florida department of education.
Make sure to ask the question “are you a state licensed bartending school?” if the immediate answer is “no”, or, “you don’t need a state license to bartend”, then you can cross that bartending school off your list.
